About Abi Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate | EMDR Therapist | Christian Counselor

Supervised by Dr. Seth Sampson

You were not made to carry this forever.

Maybe you’ve been hauling the weight of something that happened years ago, a childhood that left marks, a fear that won’t quit, a voice in your head that’s never kind, an anxiety that follows you into every room. You’ve prayed about it. You’ve tried to push through it. And yet here it is, still.

That’s exactly who Abi is here for.

Abi is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate with a Master of Science in School Counseling, post-graduate training in clinical mental health counseling, and specialized hours in EMDR, child and teen therapy, and Christian counseling. But more than her credentials, she brings something you can actually feel in the room, a calm, genuine, non-judgmental presence that makes it safe to say the things you’ve never said out loud.

What Abi actually does: She helps teen girls and women ages 13 and up break free from the things that have kept them stuck, childhood trauma, deep-rooted fears, negative beliefs about themselves, anxiety that feels bigger than life. Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Abi works with you to gently process old wounds at the root level, not just manage them on the surface.

And through all of it, Jesus is in the room.

Abi’s approach is woven with faith, not forced, not preachy, but real. She believes God designed us to heal, that He meets us in our darkest places, and that therapy can be one of the most sacred spaces of surrender when it’s done in partnership with Him. If you want your healing to be spiritually grounded, not just clinically effective, you’ve found your person.

What to expect: Your first sessions are about your story. Abi will take time to understand where you’ve been, what you’re carrying, and where you want to go. There’s no rush, no pressure to have it all figured out. Just you, showing up, and Abi helping you figure out the rest. Together, you’ll build a path forward that actually fits you.

Sessions feel less like sitting across from a therapist and more like talking to someone who gets it, takes you seriously, and genuinely believes in what God can do in your healing.
